Maine Elder Law Offices of John and Mark Nale

Planning for Peace of Mind

The Elder Law Offices of John and Mark Nale is a law firm run by family, committed to helping families. For over 20 years, we have dedicated ourselves to serving the legal needs of seniors in Maine.

We take pride in developing long-term relationships with our clients that allow us to understand and respond to their changing needs over time. We don’t just work for you; we work with you, through whatever challenges you and your family may face. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Our Family Helping Yours

Our mission is rooted in one goal: the desire to help people. We believe that in order to best serve our clients, we must cultivate relationships with them. We are committed to making sure our clients understand, first and foremost, how much they matter to us.

Our holistic, “person centered” approach requires us to look at the whole person and listen to what is really important to the client. We incorporate respect, dignity, enhancement of quality of life, and self-determination as primary goals to be accomplished for our clients.

We represent older persons, disabled persons, their families and their advocates. Our holistic practice includes estate and retirement planning, long-term care planning (home care, assisted living, nursing home care), investment and insurance matters, estate and trust administration, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, titling of assets and designations of beneficiaries, guardianships, conservatorships, and public entitlements such as MaineCare, Medicare, Social Security and SSI, disability planning, care management and fiduciary services.

Our firm is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the only national organization dedicated to Elder Law. NAELA is the premiere academy for attorneys who wish to learn the in-depth issues related to Elder Law and for those who wish to advocate for and assist people with special needs as they age.

Centrally located in Waterville, Maine, we are committed to serving older persons and their families from all parts of Maine. We encourage you to learn more about our services and to contact us for a consultation.
